The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals during your stay
The decor is bold, with some original and period features, and some quirky touches like the hallway papered with old sheet music. The furniture and ornaments have been found, handed down or bought in auctions and second hand shops
HOW MANY CAN SLEEP IN THE COTTAGE?
The cottage sleeps 4 people comfortably in a double bedroom and twin bedroom and if you have extra guests there is a double sofa bed in the living room and a large sofa in the twin room which can be used as a temporary bed. A cot can be provided if required. All bed linen and towels are provided as required.
THE ACCOMMODATION COMPRISES:
- Sitting room with open fire and south facing windows overlooking garden. Sofa Bed for extra guest.
- Dining area for 6 within sitting room, with crockery etc in dresser.
- Kitchen with washing machine/tumble drier, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, table and chairs for 2.
- Back yard with pull out washing line; table and bench seat creates a smoking area. Overlooked by the old church. Gets the sun all morning.
- Bathroom with roll top bath and electric shower over bath.
- Double bedroom with double bed and wood burning stove. South facing sunny windows over looking garden.
- Twin bedroom with twin beds and large sofa which could sleep an extra guest if required. South facing sunny windows overlooking garden.
- Large sunny enclosed garden down to river bank- unfenced to riverside. A perfect peaceful space for meditation and reflection.
